Dr. Barcelona de Mendoza Invited to Speak on Diversity at University of Michigan

February 19, 2016

Our own Dr. Veronica Barcelona de Mendoza, postdoctoral associate for the Intergen Study, was recently invited to be part of a panel presentation in May on the diversity in health care, public health and academia at the University of Michigan School of Public Health’s 30th anniversary for the Summer Enrichment Program. This is a program that pairs undergraduate students with hospital and health care leaders during a summer internship with the hopes of increasing diversity in health care administration and policy.  Dr. Barcelona de Mendoza is an alumnus of the program.  Congratulations to Dr. Barcelona de Mendoza on this well-deserved recognition and we are proud to call her our colleague.
