Drs. Crusto and Taylor Awarded National Institute of Nursing Research Grant

Dr. Cindy Crusto, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, and Dr. Jacquelyn Taylor, Associate Professor of Nursing, are featured in this article about their recently awarded National Institute of Nursing (NINR) research grant.

The article gives an overview of the Intergenerational Blood Pressure Study and its goals.  Both Dr. Taylor and Dr. Crusto are very excited to begin this important work and “are passionate that their findings can contribute to developing interventions that address genetic and psychological factors to reduce the risks for hypertension.”
