Shabelly Espinosa

Shabelly Espinosa is a nursing student in the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. Last summer she participated in the Summer Health Professions Education Program at UCLA where she got the opportunity to study various health disparities in underserved populations across America. Her research interests include examining cardiovascular diseases and chronic illnesses in underserved communities. Once completing her Bachelor’s program, she wants to pursue her Master’s degree to become a nurse practitioner. During her free time, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her friends and family.
