Celina Whitmore, BS

Celina received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Hartford and currently attends the University of New Haven’s Masters Program in Community Psychology (MACP). Being a Graduate Research Intern with this study provides Celina with the opportunity to apply her interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to explore factors that contribute to high blood pressure within African Americans by conducting community-based research. Her research interests include racial and ethnic minority children and families, multicultural counseling, and eating disorders. Celina plans to pursue a career in Psychology by continuing her education in a doctoral program in the future. Celina is very excited to be a part of the Intergen Team.
